Wyatt Caldwell - Levitation Project

WHY DO YOU RIDE FOR THE LEVITATION PROJECT?

I ride for levitation because their company's roots and focus is made up of core snowboarders inovating quality products that they test and use themselves in the elements. Not many shred companies start from true grass roots these days unless backed by real snowboarders.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN YOU RIDE FOR THE LEVITATION PROJECT AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT THAN RIDING FOR OTHER COMPANIES?

The Levitation project is a group of friends that are all solid riders who share the same passion for snowboarding and want to represent snowboarding through a company that reflects the views of where snowboarding's roots started, with snowboarders, not corporations trying to capitalize on snowboarders.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LEVITATION PROJECT PRODUCT?

Right now my favorite products are the base layer and the colorful jerseys with badass graphics that are comfortable to wear in the spring or summer over a long sleeve. Favorite soon to be a well designed backcountry backpack.

WHAT DOES SNOWBOARDING MEAN TO YOU?

Snowboarding to me means the way of life that i have been fortunate enough to live since my black snow legend in 6th grade. More than just a sport, it is a like minded community that is trying to recreate their best powder day over and over again.

WHAT SACRIFICES HAVE YOU MADE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE?

I have made many sacrifices to get to the point where i am in snowboarding. I have spent thousands on hospital bills, put off college for years, missed many weddings, spent mortgage savings account on snowmobiles, trained hard in the gym, and passed up office job offers just to name a few. I would do it all over again no questions asked.

WORST JOB YOU EVER HAD?

worst job i ever had was bussing tables at a mexican resteraunt in high school. rice and beans get fucking everywhere! Sprinkler irrigation this summer was not that fun either.

WHAT ARE THE WORST INJURIES THAT YOU HAVE HAD TO DATE?

worst injury would have to be the gash i put in my head cart wheeling over a cliff in the backcountry that required 40 stitches and a chopper ride cause we were 15 miles deep in the woods and 2.5 hours from the nearest hospital.

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL WINTER DAY LIKE?

Either hitting sketchy park jumps in some slope contest with bad weather, or out in the backcountry with blue skies and my friends slaying powder lines or building and hitting a rad booter! then hot tub and football.

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL SUMMER DAY LIKE?

Unfortunately working in the week to party at the lake all weekend surfing behind the boat and catching a few good concerts.
